Panda Sweeps Play of the Week! – Week 3

We head to the good ol’ United States of America for this weeks ‘Play of the Week.’ Now this is a story which has a few twists and turns, firstly with the post match interview with the player involved and then again with an audio recording being released of things he said to a player immediately after the game.
Richard Sherman sent the world into a bit of a spin this week with his post match interview after his Seattle Seahawks sealed the NFC Championship and secured a birth in the Super bowl. He was animated to say the least and not everyone could work out why? He copped a lot of heat for it that’s for sure, but why was he so excitable? Probably because he just completed an amazing play which saw him take an interception from the 49’s receiver Crabtree to secure the Seahawks birth in the Super Bowl.
Further audio has now been released of an incident between Sherman and Crabtree with Crabtree taking exception to what Sherman said. Did the public over react to Sherman’s interview? All we know is that under pressure he made one hell of a play which sends Seattle to the Super Bowl for only the second time in history!
