Just like the ‘Worst Play of the Week’ we head down under to the Australian Open for the Panda Sweeps ‘Play of the Week.’ This week it goes to Serena Williams who after the world number 1 took down Daniela Hantuchova 6-3, 6-3 advanced to the fourth round and broke a record along the way!
It was Serena’s 61st win in the singles main draw at the Australian Open, more than any other woman. That’s 61 wins for the American at the Australian Open, often in the punishing heat the tournament is renowned for. Serena was firm favourite to take the title making it her 18th Grand Slam but was bundled out surprisingly in the fourth round..
