Panda Sweeps Play of the Week! – Week 10

Of course we can’t go past the Cheltenham Festival for this weeks ‘Play of the Week’ and of course we can’t go past the feature race the Gold Cup. Lord Windermere came from last to first to snatch victory from heavily backed Silviniaco Conti who led over the last. Trained by Jim Culloty who has won three Gold Cups as a jockey Lord Windermere just managed to hold off On His Own and Giant Bolster.
Lord Windermere riding on odds at 20-1 was a seen as a good win for the bookies as the heavily backed favourite Bobs Worth finished out of the placing’s. A brief inquiry was launched after the race but was dismissed and celebrations for Culloty and connections began.
