Sandown Classic 2400m – Saturday 16 November 2013 – (Event Finished)
The 2400m Sandown Classic at Sandown Racecourse has been run since 1888 and is the feature event of the spring carnival at the Sandown track.
It’s produced some big name winners including the likes of Pompeii in 1994, Star Binder in 1997, Aerosmith in 1999, Shy Heights in 2001, Roman Arch in 2005, and Zipping who won the event four years in a row between 2007 and 2010.
