Panda Sweeps Worst Play of the Week! – Week 4
Saturday, February 1st, 2014
Daniel Sturridge of Liverpool FC gets Pepper the Pandas ‘Worst Play of the Week’ award for this week. The Liverpool striker was having a good game in the Merseyside Derby during the week, Scoring two goals before lining up for a 54th minute penalty which looked like an easy set up for him to get his hat-rick.
The out come of the penalty is shown below. Sturridge was then quickly substituted and made things worse for himself by giving his manager Brendan Rogers his views on being substituted. These didn’t go down well, with Rogers giving a piece of his mind back to Sturridge who has now apologized for his behaviour.
Liverpool went on the win the fixture 4-o.
