Panda Sweeps Play of the Week! – Week 5

Saturday, February 8th, 2014

This weeks “Play of the Week” goes out to Norweigen Ole Einar Bjoerndalen. Ole, at the tender age of 40 managed to win his 12th Olympic medal on day one of the Sochi Olympics equalling a record for the most Olympic medals ever won by an individual. Bjoerndalen managed to score gold in the 10km Biathilon Sprint coming in first a full 1.3 seconds before second place finisher Dominik Landertinger. Bjoerndalen has won 7 Olympic gold’s and first medalled way back in 1988 at the Nagano Olympic games. We think a long and distinguished career like this absolutely deserves our “Play of the Week”.
